What are the bitter truths of life one should know?

That there would never be a happy ending.

This is one of the most propogated lies ever. There never will be a happy ending, for there never is an end to life. Even when you think this is what you always wanted and you've achieved it, there will be something that would pull you down.

Well, that is life, unfortunately. Understanding this fact and dealing with it is what makes your life a success.

Bitter Truth:

1. Complete honesty is a complete lie.
2. Love is sacred to those who have never been in love.
3. Money is more integral to happiness than romantic love.
4. Every human being is a contradiction. Some hide it better than others.
5. Never underestimate the tendency of human beings to act contrary to their own best interests.
6. Were it not for the fear of getting caught, most of us would behave like savages.
7. All sex has consequences, most of them dire.
8. The older you get, the faster time flies until month pass like days.
9. There's no such thing as living happy ever after.
10. Everything gets worse.

No matter how hard you try, you cannot remove all evils in this world.
The sad truth is that evils will always exist. Whether it's evil people or misfortunes, neither will be expunged.

This definitely has to be "Murphy"
  1. If you are feeling good don't worry you will get over it
  2. Friends come and go but enemies accumulate
  3. A short cut is the longest distance between two points
  4. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong
  5. No good deed goes unpunished
  6. If you try to please everyone nobody will like it
  7. Everyone has a scheme for getting rich that will never work
  8. In order to get a loan you must first prove you don't need it
  9. Anything you try to fix will take longer and cost more than you thought
  10. In any hierarchy each individual will rise upto his own level of incompetence and stay there
  11. The other line always moves faster
  12. Build a system that even a fool can use and only fools will use it.
  13. Nature is a mother
  14. All warranties expire after payment of invoice
  15. There is always one more bug
  16. Whenever you set to do something, something else needs to be done first
  17. The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlamp of an oncoming train
  18. To know yourself is the ultimate form of frustration
  19. When in double, mumble. When in trouble, delegate
  20. In case of doubt make it sound convincing
  21. Never play leapfrog with an Unicorn
  22. There is never time to do it right, but there is always time to do it over
  23. GOLDEN RULE: The one with gold makes the rules

The Laws of Computer Programming
  1. Any given program, when running, is obsolete.
  2. Any given program costs more and takes longer each time it is run.
  3. If a program is useful, it will have to be changed.
  4. If a program is useless, it will have to be documented.
  5. Any given program will expand to fill all the available memory.
  6. The value of a program is inversely proportional to the weight of its output.
  7. Program complexity grows until it exceeds the capability of the programmer who must maintain it.
  8. If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization.
  9.  If it looks easy, it's tough. If it looks tough, it's damn near impossible.

I would mention a small story...

An arrogant king called upon a Zen monk to his court and said, ' I have heard much of your repute in wit as well as wisdom'.

Can you state a sentence, that would make the saddest man smile, whilst making the happiest man sad?'

The monk looked up, and said ' This too shall Pass'.

Same age different destinations. 2 children were going to school and other two were going to pick rags.

The worst truth about life today, living in the current society is that there are rules everywhere. There is no enough freedom for anyone. Everyone's lives are dictated by rules and regulations. Any kind of free thinking us suppressed.

The sadder truth is that for people who try to oppose these rules and try to lead a free life, there is none. Classic examples of people who were disgisted at the rules of the society and who went on to live in the wild, to lead a life of freedom were Everett Euess, Chris McCandless and many others.

Another. The citizens of the 21st century are so dependent on technology that even for five minutes they cannot exist without them. The irony is appalling. It is we that created the machines, without us they wouldn't even exist. But, without them, we wouldn't exist.

I think that death is over-rated. Ask a person who has no money.....ask a person who's depressed......ask a person with serious illness......ask a person whos child is dying, you'll realise that death is the least of many bitter pills. It can be sweet release to many. The bitterest truths in my opinion are betrayal, failure, depression, opression, lack of freedom....not necessarily in that order. And last but definitely not the least.....in fact the most important truth, that life and people will never ever be what we want it/them to be!!!

Everyone who have come on this earth, will have to depart one day. Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, ... ,... left his physical (material) body one day. I think this is the bitterest truth of life.

Nobody loves you truly except your parents.

You will be judged for every possible things in life.

Freedom will be hard to earn.

Nothing will come to you without any sacrifice.

Change will always make you restless.

Bitter truth is that we believe in God without seeing him.

That we believe in this world without knowing about it.

That we we don't listen to parents in spite of they care for us putting part of their life.

That I believe wife cares for me.

That we are all different.

That we need to face world on our own.

That we follow religions without clearly understanding it.

That we don't realise religion is embibed on us by our parents and surroundings.

That we don't know why we behave the way we do.

That we don't realise before we fight.

That we don't learn to stay in harmony  in spite of lots of lessons available.

                                      KEEP CALM!!!!
